We are saddened to share the passing of Rev. Marilyle Sweet Page, the co-founder of the Rochester Dachshund Parade, who left us on February 9, 2021.
Rev. Page
and Rev. Thomas Hanson hosted the very first parade at the Episcopal Diocesan
Home on May 4, 2002, before moving to the current site at Washington Square
Park in 2005. Marilyle was the continuing spirit through 18 annual parades, and
we will carry that spirit into the future as a sweet remembrance.
